A day in… relocated history

A few hours wandering around St Fagans in late March was quite a reward.

Not everyone might agree with my quirky sense of indulgence, but 1.5 semesters into my MA programme this was our relaxation venue for the day.

Together the fiancé and I, guided by local friends, walked through Welsh history. From a Victorian schoolhouse to a Reformation-era chapel to the black and white sheep speckling the fields, we learned about the culture and people of this beautiful nation.

To be honest, I don’t think I would have appreciated the visit as much if I had not been living in Cardiff for seven months.

The afternoon was topped off with a cuppa and Welsh cakes. Enjoy our photos!
